Snake Feast (snakefeast.com and the Snake Feast apps for Android and iOS) is operated by Avinash Kori, an individual developer based in India ("we", "us"). Contact: koriavinash00@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account data: username, display name, email address and a hashed password (registered users), chosen avatar and country. If you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, email, name and profile photo.
• Guest play: you can play without an account. We create an anonymous guest profile so your progress works during play.
• Gameplay data: match results, scores, statistics, ratings, achievements, missions, coins and items, clan and tournament membership, and match replays (player inputs only).
• Social data: friend lists, direct messages and clan chat, blocks, and reports you send or that are made about you.
• Voice chat: optional and off until you turn it on. Audio is relayed in real time through our own server and is not recorded or stored.
• Technical data: IP address (used for security, rate limiting and to estimate your country), browser or device type, and error reports when the app crashes.
• Push notifications: if you allow them, your browser gives us a notification address so we can send reminders and friend or match updates. You can turn them off at any time in your browser or in Settings.
• Purchases: payments are handled by Stripe (web), Apple or Google. We receive your subscription status, never your card details.

How we use it

• To run the game: matchmaking, leaderboards, friends, chat, voice and saving your progress.
• To keep the game fair and safe: preventing cheating, spam and abuse, and reviewing reports.
• To fix bugs and keep the service reliable.
• To show ads to free players (see below).

We do not sell your personal data.

Advertising

Free players may see ads from Google AdSense (web) or Google AdMob (apps). Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, subject to the consent choices offered to you. See how Google uses data in ads. Premium players do not see ads.

Cookies and local storage

We use a cookie and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings (language, sound, controls). Advertising cookies are described above.

Who processes your data for us

• Hetzner Online (servers, Singapore): hosts the game and database.
• Cloudflare: domain name service.
• Sentry: crash and error reports.
• Google: sign-in, ads and push notification delivery.
• Stripe, Apple, Google and RevenueCat: payments and subscriptions.

These services may process data outside your country. We only share what each one needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

• Guest profiles that are not used for 30 days are deleted automatically, with their data.
• Registered accounts are kept until you delete them.
• When you delete your account, your profile, friends, messages and personal details are removed. Past match results stay on other players' records under your old name but are no longer linked to you.
• Database backups are kept for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete account. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, or to ask any privacy question, email koriavinash00@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example India, the EU/UK or California) you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Snake Feast is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, please use Snake Feast with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as hashes, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will let you know in the game.
